Wonderland

Throughout the winter period, November - April, the scenery and surroundings of Lapland are perhaps the most beuatiful in the world. The sun shimmering off the endless expanse of snow and the gentle swaying of the pine trees is a sight to behold. During the night the clear skies delight with the best star gazing opportunities you will ever see, the constant big skies offering a vast potential of sights. Not to mention the ever present opportunity to see the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis).

There are indeed very cold days and nights, but as the Swedes say "There's no bad weather, only bad clothing!", and the cold offers fun opportunities of its own, for instance throwing a cup of boiling water in the air and watching it freeze instantly as it falls! Most days, however, are perfectly agreeable and if your doing even the sligthtest exercise you will soon warm up.

From your accommodation we can organise all manner of activities from downhill skiing and snowboarding, to cross country skiing, dog sledding, reindeer sleigh rides, ice fishing, and snow show walking to name but a few. Many of these amazing activities are included in the packages below, and others you fancy booking can easilly be arranged through us on arrival, during your stay or when you book.

Our experienced staff will collect you from the airport in our winterised 4x4 vehicles ensuring you can sit back and relax from the moment the plane takes off all the way to you accommodation. Hot, cold and even alcoholic drinks will be available for you when we greet you!
